Ignacio G. Martinez, is a licensed attorney in Texas and Mexico. He began his international law practice in 1998 and since 2006 he has focused on the following areas: Personal Injury, Insurance Claims, Immigration, Federal and State Criminal Defense; and Cross-Border Transactions (U. S-.Mexico). In the litigation area, Mr. Martinez has represented individuals from various countries in connection with personal injuries and insurance claims. Prior to having his own legal practice, he oversaw the International Department in several law firms. He currently has his main office in Brownsville, Texas and provides legal services through all the State of Texas and immigration services in all 50 States of the United States.

From 1998-2003 Mr. Martinez worked for an international law firm handling the incorporation of foreign investment maquiladoras (in-bond companies) and Mexican business ventures with foreign investment, including related immigration, customs and labor matters. He also served as Policy Analyst on the Texas Senate, in Austin, Texas, analyzing bills and policy matters, while responsible for the jurisprudence, criminal and Mexico affairs committees.

He attended Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and got his Mexican Law Degree. He is licensed to practice in all Mexican States. While earning his LL.M (Masters) in European Law, in Spain, Mr. Martinez served as the Government Liaison for the Mexican State of Tamaulipas. He also attended Cambridge University, in England, to study International English Methods. He earned his Degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas in Austin. Mr. Martinez taught International Business Law at the University of Texas at Brownsville for several years.
